I've played L4D and Resistance co-op and I'll take L4D anyday. Yes Resistance is fun but it's the same quests over and over and over. Resistance has a fun single player and extremely good multiplayer but don't go comparing the co-op to a game that was made on co-op.
HDDVD if you really want to argue exclusives we can. I think you're very biased toward PS3. You can argue if Killzone is better than L4D or if MGS4 is better than Gears 2 but I've played and am playing all of them. Who gets the last laugh now?
The games are the reason I bought a 360 in addition to my PS3. The games weren't cutting it for me. I wanted to play gears, gears 2, fable 2, left 4 dead and now Halo Wars. Yes the PS3 has some good games and I own them all. I recommend anyone who loves good games to buy BOTH a PS3 and a 360.

I called my gamestop (it's on the midnight launch and tournament list) and they said that they will NOT be having a tournament and they weren't sure about a midnight launch.

Well obvoiusly it IS going to be the least popular Halo. Think about the type of people that generally play the Halo series. Some of them are hard core gamers but the majority are halo-is-the-only-game-I-play-a ll-I-care-about-are-first-perso n-shooters type of people. They're going to buy the game and be asking, "Why are my people so *(#@ing small?"
Personally I can't wait for Halo Wars and I'm more excited about it than Halo 2 or 3.
I'm confused why some fallout fanboys are angry with this game? (all 3 of them that is). They should be falling on their @$$es and thanking Bethesda for turning a game series that no one knew about (or cared to know about) and turning it into one of the greatest RPGs of all time.
I have never played a 2d fighter especially not a street fighter game until SFIV. I rented it and kind of liked it. I am 101-200 in ranked matches despite the fact that I don't know how to do the EX moves, the super moves or shoot my flaming projectiles. I would say it is very accessible.

Game reviews are EXTREMELY important. For example, if edge says it sucks then you know its an awesome game and vice versa.
WHAT A MINUTE HOLD UP. You've said that edge did this because they wanted to get attention. Well, thanks to all of you dicussing this in depth instead of shrugging it off, edge has become a household gamer name and their website probably has 10 million hits in the last week.

I would play my PS3 again if they enable backwards capability. Otherwise, I'm loving the 360 exclusives and better multiplatform versions of games.
Why did I cancel my preorder of this game and plan on never even renting it?
1. Slow zombies. Lame.
2. Controls show how last last gen the game is.
3. Sound it horrible like RE4. It sounds like they recorded the sound from the other side of a wall.
4. Terrible and slow inventory system and hard aiming. Why would have thought it would be hard to hit a zombie moving .0001 mph in the head?
